Mini Wallet SWAP

It's officially time to SWAP!

Mini Wallet SWAP Details:

WHAT/SIZE: Every participant will make and receive a mini wallet. The pattern/style is “Maker’s choice” and can be anything that displays your creative point of view. For this SWAP it is highly encouraged that you keep your design “scrappy”.  The finished mini must be large enough to hold a credit card and a few dollars. Please include some sort of closure. Again, Maker's choice.

WHEN: Sign-ups are happening NOW through March 3rd, 2024, or earlier.* Partner email will be sent by March 8th, 2024, and all packages must be shipped to partners by April 8th, 2024.

WHERE: Everywhere! My SWAP events are open to everyone. Each participant will be paired with a partner in their general area to keep shipping costs low.

WHO: All fabric scrap lovers and stitchers are welcome! Please remember when joining any swap, your partner may have a different skill level. Along the way, I share helpful hints and technique-based tutorials and because of the community atmosphere, you can get help and ask questions along the way.

Price: $5 per SWAP  – I am often asked about the fee and want to clarify right up front. Running a SWAP of this size and caliber requires a tremendous amount of effort behind the screen. There are many hours spent organizing, emailing, and following up on participants. Not to mention being a SWAP Angel when a partner falls out at the last minute.

Scrappy Girls Club Group: Love to sew every last scrap? Be sure to join my special group dedicated to using every inch of your stash. There you can share pictures of your projects in work or have finished, meet and get to know other members from around the world, share inspiration, and participate in the group. Everything is in one spot- simple and easy to use on your computer or smartphone.

**REMEMBER- Once signed up, you will need to fill out the quick questionnaire. You will find this form attached to your paid receipt. It MUST be completed to be partnered with your new sewing buddy. Then it’s time for us to get to work pairing everyone together. In the meantime, you can start gathering and sorting your scraps. SWAP partners will be emailed by March 15th, 2024.

After the swap, each participant is invited to share what they have received/exchanged on our community page for all to enjoy. #SewingLoftSWAPS
